I read the book Irreversible Damage by Abigail Shrier. My Dad had bought the book for himself. He kept telling me that if I read the book I wouldn’t understand it and I’d be triggered by it. Those comments pushed me to read it. What’s the worst that can happen in such a conservative book?

The old reverse-psychology trick. Unfortunately this also helps to explain the difficulty with pushback against GI.

As much as I think gender ideology and treatment is akin to modern day lobotomy, I find it hard to believe that this was written by a thirteen year old. It's possible but my bs detector is ringing.

I got one paragraph in and said the same thing. Not saying it's made up, just that someone had a hand in helping write it. Hopefully helping on just the writing part and not influencei her story.
