The Estonian MoD has released a paper explaining how to defeat Russia. Of course they have been huffing undiluted copium, claiming that "It is we who have the upper hand in this fight", and their recommendation is basically "we need to kill more Russians and win more battles" (well duh) but there are some genuinely interesting facts in the paper:
Despite American propaganda that Russia has lost "almost all" of the area they captured in the war, the Estonian MoD admits that in reality Russia has more than doubled the area they hold: from 42,000 km2 in February 2022 to 108,000 km2 when the report was released.
Russia is capable of deploying an additional 130,000 fully trained and equipped soldiers every six months. This is not a rag-tag bunch of untrained conscripts and cannon-fodder, but first-class trained professionals. That's 26 full brigades. Ukraine struggled to put together nine brigades for their attempted summer counter-offensive, and most of them were barely trained conscripts with severe equipment shortages. No NATO country can even dream of deploying that many new troops.
They admit that Russia's production of shells has already reached 3.5 million per year, and is on track to reach 4.5 million in 2024. (That's not including the 10 million shells they purchased from North Korea.)
While the entire West combined produces 480-700 thousand shells per year. Russia produces more shells in three months than the entire western world can produce in a year.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
