Bill Gates is worth $131 Billion. Imagine you're very rich - imagine you make a half MILLION dollars a year. In order to make as much as Gates has, you'd still have to work for 262,000 years. Gates' wealth should not be celebrated, it should be ridiculed.

The Gates Foundation is the largest of its kind with holdings of $50 Billion. They created the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), which promised to double farm yields & income for 30 million poor Africans in 13 countries.

After 14 years AGRA had not increased income & had actually INCREASED hunger by 30% in those 13 African nations. AGRA introduces GMO & patented plants & chemicals. These technologies often undermine food security & only benefit Big Ag corporations.

The Gates Foundation has worked with the World Economic Forum to co-opt the UN Food Systems, & last week 500 civil society groups boycotted the UN Food Systems Summit because of this.

Bill Gates is also the largest private owner of farmland in the US - and no one seems to know what he's doing with it. I'm sure there's nothing nefarious there.

The Gates Foundation is also the second largest funder of the World Health Organization (2nd only to the U.S.). Whistle blowers have said nothing goes through the WHO without Gates' approval.

There is a massive revolving door between the Gates Foundation & Big Pharma - like GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Novartis, & Pfizer.

'The Nation' found the Foundation is heavily invested in Big Pharma. So what's good for Big Pharma is good for Gates - meaning profit over health.

Big Pharma has discovered that 90% of costs come from phase III trials of a drug - so they have begun doing those trials in developing countries by labeling them "aid programs." This is done by the WHO, the Gates Foundation & Big Pharma working together.

The Gates Foundation has also donated millions to capture mainstream media outlets including NPR, PBS, ABC, BBC, Al Jazeera, the Daily Telegraph, the Financial Times, Univision & The Guardian.

Bill Gates has also had widely known connections to Jeffrey Epstein. In a recent interview when asked what lesson had been learned by spending time with Epstein, Gates said, "Well, he's dead. So, you always have to be careful."

All told, Bill Gates is not a force for good - he is a force for spreading US corporate hegemony over the food & health systems of the world.
