So I've started receiving messages in my twitter DMs from regulars asking if/when r/WotB will reopen (I don't have that answer yet) and I sent them a link to here. Then I made a pinned tweet telling my followers that a migration is afoot and they can find us here (with link).

And I've started dropping references to saidit - with the occasional link here, on reddit.

Which got me thinking, we should all start tweeting and dropping PMs to regulars and users we recognize with a quick note that we're here. It's a long and tedious process, but like r/WotB, at some point it begins to snowball as more people start telling more people that we're here.

So, next time any of us are in any of our other social media accounts, or whatever other reddit subs we still might visit, please consider dropping some invites.

It does work, and r/WotB is proof of how effective it can be over time.
