Tragic but utterly predictable. Gonzalo took exceedingly foolish risks in not only staying, but making himself an Internet personality criticizing the Kiev junta while remaining within their grasp.

No I'm not blaming Gonzalo for his own death. The fault remains with the Nazi SBU and their Nazi CIA puppeteers. I just wish he had listened to the many, many people who told him to leave while the going was good. I can only assume he thought he was protected because he had connections and money.

I thought he should have left much sooner as well. We already knew what the Kiev regime was capable of, not to mention the US government's blindness to/indifference toward their blatant human rights violations.

"I cannot accept the way my son has died. He was tortured, extorted, incommunicado for 8 months and 11 days and the US Embassy did nothing to help my son. The responsibility of this tragedy is the dictator Zelensky with the concurrence of a senile American President, Joe Biden," Gonzalo's father wrote.
