On his last visit to Pyongyang, in July, Pompeo left saying progress had been made, only for North Korea within hours to denounce his “gangster-like demands.”

It sounds like things are moving forward, but there's a lot of old inertia to work through. I like at least that they had the first meeting, that was a good step. But I don't like him here keeping the ambassador from travelling as a "punishment" for North Korea not working fast enough and making some poor comments.

I guess it's to be expected on some level, but I thought it was interesting to hear an update on this after what a big deal that summit in Singapore was.
