Background on this: was there a lot of nontroversy about some male Muslim immigrant children not shaking hands with a females due to different gender.

As a result, forcing them to shake hands is the result.

Now speaking as an immigrant myself, you either adapt to the culture of the country you're living in or you're not integrating into the country.

So fine, no issues, shake hands because you're just a child and you don't know any better and your parents should either deal with it or move back to the country you left because clearly that's the important battle to fight.

However, the increase in the fee doesn't come just because of shaking hands but because apparently shaking hands with the elected official would create such a massive bureaucracy that the cost would triple.

That's the real outrage here and I'd love to see an itemized list of how they arrived at that number.
