every nation that is currently a member of nato and under the “protection” of the us and german military should respond to this millitary build up by withdrawing from nato and building up its own millitary and nuclear deterrents.

All heathy 18 year-old German males must undergo a period of military training so it won't be too hard to get them ready.

Germany and Russia are traditional enemies and I think the Germans are preparing for a possible attack from Russia.

whatever germany says their reason is for building up their millitary, the rest of europe should be prepared to repel them and should build up their millitary strenght to match germany. even if you are expecting the attack to come from russia having a stronger military of your own wont hurt you but entrusting your security to nato might.

I believe Germany and all of NATO is gearing up now for a possible attack and Germany is not a threat to any country right now.

as long as those countries that are part of nato are ready for an attack from germany and nato and are not relying on germany and nato for security. germany is a big threat, they have the ability to build tanks and planes very quickly and the united states government is supplying them with nuclear warheads and nuclear-capable hypersonic missiles.

It seems most countries are preparing for decades long prolonged lacked of peace in the world.

If you also include cyber offense and defense as a big part of modern foreign security and warfare, then Australia joined the club too with large new investments.
