Der Spiegel accuses the Russians of what the Germans are guilty themselves. The dissident journalist Boris Reitschuster has been excluded from the Bundespressekonferenz for no reason other than his permanent critical questions of government policies. The German justice system has become a political tool of the government just like it did in the USA. Judges who are doing their job and refuse to pull government line get their homes raided by police and their jobs threatened.

The cause for this development lies in the deterioration of the media (with Der Spiegel right at the forefront) into a new church that claims absolute truth and demonizes everybody who disagrees as "right-wingers" or "conspiracy theorists". Politicians have realized this development and learned to tap into this new church power by formally kowtowing before the media and pledging themselves for their gods, like the climate god, the COVID god, or race, gender and the rest of the usual insanities.

I find it ironic (and sad) how Germany bans RT and then the German state media whinges over Russia banning them. The German establishment lacks self-awareness. As does the Irish establishment.

Fake news delusion. They are addicted to their TV and only whats on TV is part of their reality.

TV and Tik Tok are awful. My parents are addicted to the TV. They watch RTÉ News (Irish CNN with government backing) and American television programs. Needless to say, there are a lot of things I do not talk to them about, especially the Ukraine thing and the Trump thing.

Maybe you're an Reitschuster expert, but when I just checked it says he was removed from the press group because he said he was based in Montenegro, while that group are only for Berlin and Bonn based press.

It has no bearing really on the article at hand, other than an attempt at whataboutism. And while you're at it,

everybody who disagrees as "right-wingers" or "conspiracy theorists"

I wonder, in your mind, do right wing conspiracy theorists exist? Are there any people out there who match that description? Or is the whole concept of "right wing conspiracy theorist" a fabrication of the press, in your eyes? If there are people for whom that description is true, then....why are you complaining about them being called as such? And if you dont believe anyone in the world is a right wing conspiracists, I'd suggest you stick around on saidit a bit longer, you'll run into them

[–]Feldheld 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

Maybe you're an Reitschuster expert, but when I just checked it says he was removed from the press group because he said he was based in Montenegro, while that group are only for Berlin and Bonn based press.

Thats the official reason but it is obvious bullshit because many other journalists arent living in Berlin or Bonn and yet they are still members. Unlike many other members who rarely show up in person, Reitschuster was always present in person which means even though he might live abroad on paper, he actually spent most of his time in Berlin.

I wonder, in your mind, do right wing conspiracy theorists exist?

How would that be relevant?

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

obvious bullshit

Its not obvious

many other journalists

Are you pulling this out your ass?

How would that be relevant?

I don't know why you thought any of this was relevant. But seeing as you bought up how the OP publisher was calling someone a right wing conspiracist, I'd like you to make a counterargument explaining who you're talking about and why you decided Der Spiegel labeled them incorrectly.

[–]Feldheld 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Yes, it is obvious. If the Bundespressekonferenz (and many of its members including Spiegel journalists) had even the slightest interest in keeping a superficial air of freedom of press they would not have excluded the ONLY DISSIDENT JOURNALIST IN THE ROOM.

Needless to say Reitschuster was member for many years and never did anybody object to his residency in Montenegro. It was his permanent political criticism of COVID policies that made him a target, and yes it is FUCKING OBVIOUS you ridiculous tool.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Boring whataboutism. You big baby. Are you going to cry because some moron science denialists can't hang out with the press club anymore. Give me a break you whining child. What a stupid tiny thing for you to spend so much energy on

[–]Feldheld 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

what i took the point to be is sure they exist, but not everyone who is called that title fits. and it is used to group people together, then disregard them. rather than just classifying them as you seemed to mean.

but that’s just my thoughts on what feldheld meant.

Every country is convinced that they are the saints. How often does western media criticize another for a missile test but hail their own missile test as brave and heroic? It's mundane bullshit propaganda, and every country on all sides is guilty of it.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

Hello this is 2022 and the fascist ruzzia is presently engaged in a genocidal invasion. This is not a test. Shove your whataboutism where the sun don't shine

How often does western media criticize another for a missile test but hail their own missile test as brave and heroic

Fucking never you moron

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

Western media criticize

Western media hail their own

All media is bullshit. How blissful is your ignorance?

It is ironic that America cannot see itself as the warmongering invader that it is, with some 800 military stations on foreign soil and despite its young age, being in over 100 wars already. The ultimate propaganda machine convinced that it is the world's peacekeeper while simultaneously starting and prolonging wars for decades at a time.

Russia is no better, but do not fool yourself into thinking one country is better than another.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Ctrl+F "brave" or "heroic", I'll wait.

Are you interested in the just the most banal moronic level conversation or would you like to discuss how

  • firing missiles AT or OVER Taiwan is an escalation

  • while testing within the mainland USA is NOT

And you still have to tie it back to the article we're discussing otherwise this is just whataboutism bullshit, which we already agreed, you were going to shove where the sun doesn't shine

[–][deleted] 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Semantics, calm your tits for goodness sake. The topic is propaganda, or "mind control" if you prefer. If you didn't get the connection, then it's not worth continuing a conversation.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Semantics that aren't present in the article. Semantics that you bought with you. Semantics which you have imagined, so that you get to call it propaganda .... When the article is just correctly reporting a test launch.

continuing a conversation.

What conversation? So far this is just you railroading nonsense. Let's try again

  1. How is firing missiles at or over Taiwan any less escalatory than a domestic launch in CA?

  2. Why does your imaginary semantics excuse a fascist genocide?

  3. How is this not whataboutism again? Your answer above is just "well whatabout when Bloomberg did a thing"

[–]Insider 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Is Operation Gladio B where they used Uyghurs to murder Chinese civilians an escalation?

Is the NED funding violent protests in HK an escalation?

Is the infiltration, military training and brainwashing of Taiwan an escalation?

They are certainly not as good in the art of bullshit and lies as you mr glownigger.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

That doesn't even make sense...if I was a better bullshitter and liar than the ruzzians, wouldn't I successfully convince 140 million of them that they're not the good guys in this conflict? Why would I be complaining about them to you, if I was the better liar than their government?

[–]EternalSunset 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

As if convincing the billion people in Europe and America that Russia attacked for literally no reason and that the 2014 coup and the war on Donbass didn't happen isn't the real feat of brainwashing.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Pffhahahaha you believe the big lie! That's so funny and speaks to your tiny brain.

Let's go, then, I'm ready, whatever evidence or proof you think you have that 2014 was a coup, I'll debunk it.

I have asked hundreds of times. Show me one single piece of evidence that 2014 was a coup. Nothing and nobody has stood up to the barest scrutiny yet. Do you think you're smarter than all those flat brains? Bring it, moron.

  1. There's a hostile foreign power who hacked amb Victoria nuland's call. You can read the transcript here https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26079957 It's not evidence of a coup, nowhere in that call is any such evidence, I invite you to try to point to it

  2. Another released phone call hacked by a foreign power between baroness Ashton and minister Urmas paet. You can listen [https://youtu.be/ZEgJ0oo3OA8](here). Paet tells how a woman he met, believed that maidan was fake. This is not evidence either.

  3. Another article people often link me to is the moderndiplomacy blog, which has no proof of its own and just talks about #1 and #2 here.

There is no proof, no evidence for the coup narrative.

Because it wasn't a coup.

It was a revolution of dignity and a return to elections, that had been cancelled by the ruzzian stooge president.

You're another victim of their empire of propaganda, just like the dumb fucks in the op article.

[–]EternalSunset 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Nuland and Pyatt were explicitly discussing who their pick for heading the country was going to be: https://youtu.be/WV9J6sxCs5k?t=72

But I think you already know that or don't care (or both).

It was a revolution of dignity and a return to elections

That's what they told you to call it in the it internal documents isn't it?
And the war crimes in Donbass a "fight against hostile Russian separatists"
And the reunification of Crimea a "temporary hostile occupation of Ukrainian territory"
And the nazi militias "voluntary regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine"

Is this really what you are going to do with your life? Take your government's money to lie to other people? What does this accomplish besides making the corrupt fucks in power more powerful and the common people more misinformed and distracted from the truth?

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Theyre not picking who will run the country. They're talking about who might be suitable. Your portrayal just doesn't make sense. Nuland there is talking about Arseniy Yatseniuk ("Yats") who briefly held power until (checks watch) six years ago now. Is this really the best evidence you have. You concluded it's a coup because they mention a dude who later worked with the chocolatier who lost the presidential race to a TV comedian. Some coup. Some evidence.

That's what they told you to call it in the it internal documents isn't it?

It's literally what happened dumbass. I will concede that I could have added "parliamentary" before the word elections.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Ukraine#2004_and_2010_amendments_and_2014_return_to_2004_amendments

And the war crimes in Donbass a "fight against hostile Russian separatists"

Are they not hostile? Are they not separatists? So they want to peacefully remain part of Ukraine, in your mind. Huh.

And the reunification of Crimea a "temporary hostile occupation of Ukrainian territory"

In what fucking world is that not true? Your little brain has been poisoned by their lies. Crimea voted in 1994 after exiting the prison of nations to join Ukraine, which the ruzzia promised to respect in the Budapest memorandum.

It was an illegal annexation by Putin and it will be reversed shortly

And the nazi militias "voluntary regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Normally you moron fascists call national guard formation "azov" the "Nazi militia" but I don't know why you would think, that I thought they weren't volunteers. I will just assume this is some nonsense you saw on ruzzian news. We'll categorise this with 'bandermobiles" and the "black magic bases" that have popped up also in the ruski mir.

What does this accomplish

I'm just here to let everyone enjoy seeing that you're a smoothbrain Z fanboy who is completely and totally taken by Putin's propaganda.

[–]EternalSunset 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Theyre not picking who will run the country. They're talking about who might be suitable. Your portrayal just doesn't make sense. Nuland there is talking about Arseniy Yatseniuk ("Yats") who briefly held power until (checks watch)

"No no no you see. They didn't had any power whatsoever in the matter. They were just having an hypothetical discussion about who they would assign to rule the country in case they were the ones to pick just for the sake of imagination. The fact that the guy they picked in their totally hypothetical scenario would come to rule the country right after that is a pure coincidence."

Man, you propagandists are at least good at making me laugh. xD

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The ultimate decision makers were the Ukrainian voting public...of course the names they were mentioning were connected to power. If Nuland had said the name of a small town shingle roofer and he turned out as prime minister in 2014 then I'd probably agree with you. Any sports team fan might talk about who they think will be in the starting lineup for the big game....doesn't make those fans party to a conspiracy if the big players end up on the field. It just speaks volumes about your smooth folds, that of all possible conclusions a person could have after hearing that phone call, you would so neatly align with the Kremlin's propaganda. Notice how I haven't accused you of being on their payroll - you're just too stupid, sorry. Yet you accuse me of it. I'll take that as a compliment on my intelligence compared to your own

[–]Anman 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Yeah, blame someone else for stupid people's problems. Entire countries are full of retarded people who eat that shit up. Make people take responsibility for their ignorance and apathy. Don't scapegoat it.

As for this article, what a load of shit. What is the difference between a legal war and an illegal war? Jews.

[–]Airbus320 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Op is a ban evading shill

[–]Anman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Why do you care? Why should I give a shit? It might be evidence towards OPs post being retarded, as it is retarded, but your point is irrelevant.

[–]d3lta105 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Ok, I'll bite. Wtf is the "deepstate"? I'm Russian and American and I can tell you that the reason Russians think that they are the good guys is because the government controls everything in Russia. There are basically no independent news sources anymore. Do that for 50 years and like it or not people start believing shit.

[–]Site_rly_sux[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

"deepstate" was coined in trumpist and Q communities like this one, to mean, simply "any part of governance that I don't like". It can mean whatever you want. That what I learned from 4 years of trump people

Also, people in ruzzia could go to BBC, could go to CNN, could go to any uncensored western press until during 2022. They could have checked at any point during Putin's terms whether or not they were heading into fascism. They could have checked in 2014 whether crim was nash or whether that was illegal annexation. They could have looked at any time how the ruzzian armed forces conducted warfare in chechnya. They could have looked at any time what their president was doing to protestors and dissidents and prisoner.

So don't pretend that ruzzians are just hoodwinked or fooled. There's a part of the ruzzian moskal national character that loves, loves it when they can be the tartar yoke around the neighbouring nations

[–]Insider 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Don't listen to this shill. Deep state wasn't coined by Trumpists or Q's. It was popularized in the US by Trump, who purposely misdefined the term to associate it with Democrats.

Snowden, McAfee and Di Dongsheng have more accurate descriptions of the deep state.

While the deep state has negative connotations, theoretically speaking, neolibs believe that a deep state is necessary to ensure a leader can't just become a dictator and claim absolute power. A problem arises when the deep state is infiltrated by interest groups who dictate their own goals.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_state

A deep state is a type of governance made up of potentially secret and unauthorised networks of power operating independently of a state's political leadership in pursuit of their own agenda and goals. In popular usage, the term carries overwhelmingly negative connotations. The range of possible uses of the term is similar to that for shadow government. The expression state within a state is an older and similar concept. Historically, it designated a well-defined organization which seeks to function independently, whereas the deep state refers more to a hidden organization seeking to manipulate the public state.
