Originally, it wasn't. OWS was drawing alot of unwanted attention to the vulture capitalists. But they got co-opted pretty quickly.

business as usual. i remember joining the protests and being very surprised by how well organized and geared up they were. i was more naive back then.

Kind of get the feeling this guy is controlled opposition. Not a German but seems like he's trying to build outrage to legitimize the political environment, like what I mean is that people actually care about these shitty state run propaganda outlets more than the tax/fee.
