Because it is old - it's been in use - in the Economy: the Supply Chain
... AND it works: see TQM success stories

 
Because... well, WHY NOT? It is:

• broader - encompassing all public services
   
  
• cheaper - no costly election campaigns & elections
   
  
• responsive
   
  
• continuous
   
  
• transparent
   
  
• fairer for everyone
   
  
• how Nature works
   
  
• natural and practically everyone is doing it already in every activity domain -- except somehow for Politics AND Media
  

 
So, in fact, the real question should be:  

Why ISN'T the Co-opecratic Model already being used for
Politics and Media - the two most influential domains?
especially since everyone knows the current model is atrocious
 
Doesn't the continued use of the old model
and the marginalization of a better proven collaborative model
strongly suggests mind gatekeeping actively at work?
 
Or, worse: everyone is weaponized to mind gatekeep one another - like crabs in a basket...
