At any point in time, at each different boundary / level, there exists simultaneously those who are "constrained" by the narratives of powerlessness as well as those who are no longer "constrained".

 
Shouldn't this - the simultaneous co-existence of the constrained and unconstrained
- inform those who are constrained at certain levels but no longer constrained at other / lower levels e.g. parents of children
- that in reality "constrains" do not exist
- whatever constrains that are perceived, are in one's mind - to be overcome?

 
Therefore, shouldn't we first envision the future that we want and then work backwards to see what 'constrains" that are holding us back and tell ourselves these are not real constrains - we just have to work at it - the breakthrough will certainly come

 
In sharp contrast, a society that allows media and influencers to drive a vision of doom and gloom has allowed itself to be constrained in vision - a society that has been taken over - minds colonized

 
Therefore the simultaneous co-existence of the constrained and the unconstrained (e.g man and birds wrt flight) is an opportunity for appreciation by:

• the constrained (pre-flight man) - the constrain has been overcome - I just have to find my way

• the unconstrained - let this be a lesson for the future whenever we face "constrains" - let no one ever again say "constrains" cannot be overcome - those who say that undermine our Agency

 

 
Human Agency can be understood as Humanity's unceasing acquiring for selfs of ever more degrees of freedom from constrains, be they

• personal bodily constrains: mobility,
• learning/knowledge acquisition constrains: read, write
• time-space constrains: distance, speed,
• social constrains: (non)distributive, (in)justice/(in)equity,
• gnosis: technological, spiritual
  

 
Everyone has both ability and imperative for self actualization, that none can impede

 
In fact, our naturally endowed innate Agency is above / precedes any humanly perceived/constructed 'right'

 
The conversation we should have with ourself/s therefore:

• "They are unconstrained. How did they do it?"
  
• "Don't I/We like to be unconstrained too?"
  
• How can I/WE unconstrain self/s?"
  

 
And, is there a better envisioning of the future than one that is not just free from usurpation but also ensures virtuous cycles for all?
