Keeping tax data secret from tax payers, makes about as much sense as keeping scientific papers paid for by the public hidden from free public view.

If the people paid for something, they should be able to view that thing.

Anything else is not representation, but rather the hallmarks of authoritarianism.

^ A+++

Secrecy for "national security", "covert operations", "need to know", etc is all subjective obscurantism to confuse and cover their mafia activity.

So much for transparency. Probably because said carbon tax hasn't done squat in reducing carbon emissions and is just a cash grab by the Liberals.

Q: At what point will their blatant corruption no longer need the edifice of these lies, deceptions, manipulation, and bullshit?

A: I suppose when they're no longer fooling anyone.

I think when I'm asked to send in a an income tax report, I'll tell them "It's PRIVATE therefore you cannot access it".
