Most of Europe has made not being a gullible moron illegal for the past half-century or so. And so this should come as no surprise, it's just more of the same.

I'm not saying I side with Russia, but I do understand their viewpoint. If the USA came to control the Ukraine, it would be the end of the Russian people. They've suffered and suffered A LOT already. Enough is enough.

How would it end the Russian people? Explain.

It looks like you are doing the trans trick of claiming you want them to not exist and other such hyperbole.

Simple: Russia would then be at the mercy of US and world politicians and other such scum. It would get as darkened as we in the West have, sabotaged, gayed, transsed, and de-russianized. The End.

You are just ignorant of the facts.

In 1990 after the Soviet Union dissolved, diplomats from the west, representing NATO, agreed to - I quote: - not move one inch eastward. They have never upheld that agreement. NATO made promises in regard to Russia's safety that they are not abiding by.

In 2013 Ukraine suffered a violent revolution leading to a coup, for not agreeing to privileges from the EU (which would threaten Russia and indirectly break above promise). This coup was obviously stimulated by EU parties.

Whats next? Well after the extreme COVID scam its time to forget about that and start carving into stone that Ukraine is part of NATO and the EU. This is not only a breach of international agreements, but also an indirect act of aggression in regard to Russian safety and sovereignty. Meanwhile, since 2014, Ukraine has attacked, bombarded and shut down water pipes to regions filled with loyalists to the previous regime, those regions have, as you can guess, lots of ethnic Russians living there.

What is Russia to do? Just suck it up? What has Russia done so far to Ukraine? Nothing worse than the EU and USA have done to Libya.

Now our new cancel culture raised generation of weeb mongoloids has planned the offensive of canceling everything Russian. Even Russian cats have been banned from fucking cat shows, its that retarded, its pure cancel culture. Very wise to sanction Russia dry, we should take their energy, their food, their bank accounts, that will help alleviate the situation surely, and give Russia a reason to surrender....... /s

I'm sorry guys but this time the West are the baddies: the communist, post modernist, banana republic, sellout to WEF, transgender yet nearly islamic west is what we have become, a west that doesnt even abide by her own geopolitical diplomatic agreements.

NATO made promises in regard to Russia's safety that they are not abiding by.

I heard there was some informal talk about this but no actual guarantees.

start carving into stone that Ukraine is part of NATO and the EU.

Did Ukraine actually want that, or is that what the Russian side is saying? AFAIK Ukraine send an application to the EU only after Russia attacked it. NATO membership is probably impossible.

Meanwhile, since 2014, Ukraine has attacked, bombarded and shut down water pipes to regions filled with loyalists to the previous regime, those regions have, as you can guess, lots of ethnic Russians living there.

Well maybe in these regions they shouldn't have fought against the state they belonged to.

What is Russia to do? Just suck it up? What has Russia done so far to Ukraine?

Nah, Russia did not suck up anything, they supported the anti-Ukrainian fighters and annexed Crimea.

Very wise to sanction Russia dry, we should take their energy, their food, their bank accounts, that will help alleviate the situation surely, and give Russia a reason to surrender....... /s

Actually yes. Because otherwise our money support the Russian war machine. I'm glad we finally got some balls after Russia terrorizing Ukraine for years.

Putin fucked up big time.

    Russia repeatedly told them

Russia has no claim over former Soviet republics and other territories under their former influence. They are sovereign countries now and there's no reason why Russia should tell anyone what they should do. The USSR fucked everyone over.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine is necessary to preserve Russian sovereignty

    Yeah no.

      You are eating Putin's propaganda.

      Russia's actions are perfectly understandable

Murdering innocent people is not understandable.

I don't know whether NATO wants to put somewhere missiles or not, but rest assured that even if they couldn't put them in Ukraine, they still have plenty of other places, including constantly moving planes, submarines and whatnot.

All the post Iron Block have deep fears and cold feet of another USSR. Issue is not that simple.

To bring such countries to the realization of the Western Corpos. raping them, is quite hard.

In places where a Russian invasion is a real threat being pro Russia invading places is an actual risk to national security.

We also have similar laws against the support/promotion of nazism and the like

      Czech here.

I have no issue with this. We have an unpleasant history with Russia meddling in our country's politics.

Russia can go fuck itself, and anyone who supports the invasion can get fucked while picking up a soap bar.

Moreover - I see no threat of a 3 year sentence in the press release. It seems that the statement is concerned with Russian propaganda and misinformation, and not much more. A basic translation of the press release.

Everyone has the right to express their views in any way they see fit. But freedom of speech also has its limits in a democratic state governed by the rule of law.

If someone publicly (including demonstrations, the Internet or social networks) agreed (accepted or supported the Russian Federation's attacks on Ukraine) or expressed support or praised the leaders of the Russian Federation in this regard, they could also face criminal liability under certain conditions. for the criminal offense of approving a criminal offense pursuant to Section 365 of the Criminal Code, or for the criminal offense of denying, questioning, approving and justifying genocide pursuant to Section 405 of the Criminal Code.

The Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office appeals to all persons not to resort to public speeches in excess of the established constitutional and legal restrictions in these difficult times.

Regardless of your position on current events, if you're ok with people being jailed over speech you are part of the problem.
