It's insane the amount of anger that came from Elon buying Twitter and the article rightly points out several other major media outlets owned by billionaires that no one seemed to give two hoots about. The hypocrisy is fucking real.

Covid19crusher got yeeted off Twitter for promoting ivermectin and early treatment.... because not killing grandma with COVID turned into killing grandma with remdesivir.

That was a substantial loss. I couldn't find where he posted things elsewhere.

Basically the following can get you deleted, censored or shadowbanned off of social media (even on Trump forums/subreddits):

  • pro-Russia sentiment vs Ukraine

  • proving MSM's mass lies about China

  • exposing government pedophiles

  • non-mainstream COVID/vaccine takes

  • exposing government ops/coups in other countries (see New Atlas)

  • proving the government runs mass astroturf programs online

Yup. It was all fun and games when journalists were lecturing working class for failing to change with the times.

But the moment journalists started getting laid off, and people started cramming this cruelty in their faces, suddenly bans start getting handed out. It's OK to do it to The Other, but definitely not to our side. Jobs are hard to find in journalism.

Journalists did it to themselves.

Making up stores to sell advertising is what the free journals do for revenue. Real journalistic activities happen at paid services.
