Monthly observations June 2019: what signs of collapse do you see in your region?

On /r/collapse, there is a weekly observation thread for imperical observations of collapse every week, and this thread aims to do this, but on SaidIt. Because we have much lower engagement on this site, however, I have decided to make the threads here monthly instead of weekly. This may be changed in the future, though, when we have more traffic. Future posts will also link to previous ones, just like on /r/collapse.

The stock market isn't going up anymore as it has endlessly since 2009. That means it will crash soon, given previous patterns. The US financial markets now are just as bad out of whack as they were in 2007. A stock market collapse, followed by an economic collapse, doesn't seem far behind...

Watch that housing market. It's already taking a huge hit.

The baby boomers are retired. It's time for them to downsize.

Smaller families with less income are starting today.

The housing boom is over.

More homeless people appear to be appearing in Pasadena, California.
