I think the EU will play a big role in the coming events once the US gets further involved in the Middle East and with Russia. I find this event kind of interesting because it could foreshadow what the ruling class wants for the EU.

The EU organizations are interested in creating an European super-army. I think that once conflicts in the Middle East explode and Russia and the US fight each other. The "EU nation" will be the only powerhouse left, or at least, that's what the people in power want and they will take advantage of their military power to get rid of any remaining opposition while also making the live for Europeans worse. The final end goal will be a technocracy in which people will lose most of their human subjectivity by being placed in a computer game of sorts, achieving the third age of Joachim the Jesuits are obsessed over. While both Christian and Communist, the NWO end goal leans more towards a deranged Christianism, which is by itself already corrupted by communist ideals either way.

"Super army".. Where the French don't speak with Germans, and Italians don't speak English.
Each country trying to push their own product forward.

Finally coming up with a combined design, where Italians do the Engineering, French write the manuals,
and German input is replaced with immigrants, and English are still trying to separate from the EU.
Additionally the Dutch will push for a carbon-neutral tank (using weed and thus illegal in most countries),
and the Spain/Greek version will run on olive-oil and break after 10 km.

It's more simple than that.

Obviously everyone will be made to buy German armaments after taking big loans from German banks and if they can't pay them back Germany will be kind enough to give them a bailout which gives the German government the right to dictate policy and spending.

The EU does not want to pay for a military to project power around the world when the US military already does whatever benefits Jews. They want a military simply to threaten EU member states with force when they don't comply with things like mass migration. The optics of having the US military attacking EU nations to enforce EU doctrines is just not very good.
