You can bet that as soon as genetic engineering becomes viable on a large scale they are going to go for it.

They do not have the same history with Nazi eugenics as the west.

Since China is one of the powerhouses out there that is hostile towards the US, I think we should know about it's military developments.

China is conducting experiments in order to biologically enhance their soldiers, according to US intelligence.

I watched a c-span from the early nineties where US politicians were talking about the possibility of making wolf-soldiers using gene-editing, and whether or not these wolf-soldiers would have rights seeing as how they would have government property in them. It was bizarre.

If one country is trying to make super-soldiers, so are the others.

The U.S. already has a history trying to chemically alter their soldiers suing amphetamines for pilots and LSD for mind control in the MK Ultra project. MK Ultra is one example of why I no longer blindly dismiss conspiracy theories, even if I don't believe most of them.
