I've known about this for months. Invested some money in a lumber ETF

I wish I had money or lumber. I have some things to build. Better tools would be nice too.

Her voice was putting me to sleep. Very soothing. Might catch this one before bed.

Did you hear it? Graceful has a young baby that could be heard chortling in the background. Shucks, no chance for me, this time around. Mama, oppai.

I just spot checked a couple parts, I didn't want to fall asleep while cooking so I turned it off

If I can help somehow, let me know. I may be in love with her.

Maybe they don't want new construction as they feel it won't be needed?

No construction outside the traps cities.

So this what hyperinflation looks like. Thanks Joe Biden!

This is what intentional systematic collapse and class war looks like.

People have been grousing about it for a year. Is there anything in this eight and a half minutes which is new?

Supposedly sawmills wound down expecting lower demand, and demand shot up instead (which was obvious because of insanely low interest rates, so I don't buy the sawmill theory), then they got pinched by government interfering in their business. Also wildfires, though what wood was left of that is now being hauled away to be cut as fast as humanly possible.

That is what (((they))) claim, but there are lots of people in the industry posting videos of huge stockpiles of wood everywhere. I have never been to a hardware store with an empty shelf. Not a single piece of lumber is sold out. At some point you have to realize that the (((media))) is lying to you.

Yes. I would like to hear from hardware store purchasing managers and suppliers higher up in the chain, but people like that don't blog about stuff even if they're being blamed for something.

Hear what? They literally have the shelves entirely stocked. What are they going to say besides "no, we aren't price gouging you"? You are literally asking the wolf if he plans to eat you instead of looking at his dinner plate with the remains of your neighbor. Employ some critical thinking.

All it takes is one hardware store to lower their prices to get all the profits. We can't tell from shelves and stickers who's gouging whom.
