Yep, that's her. She's looking at the skeleton of Charles Burne, at the Hunterian Museum in London. He was probably only slightly over 7'7". His feet are a bit above the floor.

Not in the Smithsonian, and while technically a giant in the sense of a person afflicted with gigantism, he's not a member of any mysterious race of giants.

It makes no sense that "giants don't exist." During the last ice age, there were a ton of animals who were huge. Beavers the size of lions, lions the size of rhinos, bears the size of elephants, and so on. The scientific reason is due to excessive oxygen in the atmosphere, scientists even say that raising modern versions of animals in high oxygen makea them get bigger, so why doesn't that apply to humans?

I find it improbable that giants didn't exist. That the only reason the Smithsonian covers it up is because the Bible mentions it. Don't believe me? The younger dryas cataclysm was laughed out of academic circles until it became impossible to refute, the main reason was cataclysms were too similar to the bible. I'm not even running in support of the bible here, just that late 19th and early 20th century American scientists went out of their way to suppress anything that would support the Bible's claims.
