I’m not sold that Bitcoin is the next big thing. Some corporate programmers took it over a few years back and split it.

That's precisely WHY it's the next big thing...

But yeah, I see what you mean, it's not going to be all it's cracked up to be, hence why Monero exists, which is all it's cracked up to be, but isn't going to be "the next big thing"...

I advise diversification between XMR, ETH and BTC.

What is

XMR?

ETH?

Why is monero the next big thing?

I appreciate your feedback. I used to be really into crypto. I lots a lot of faith when the BTC split happened. It showed crypto can be manipulated by big money.

XMR is monero.

ETH is ethereum.

Monero is fungible and untraceable. It IS the perfect digital private money. But of course that's also why it's always going to be marginalized, a la "Only criminals use it" which was used for BTC in the past, while in fact cash money has been used infinitely more than cryptos for crime.

That said, monero is not going to be "the next big thing" for this very reason. We have to differentiate what's going to be popular with what's going to actually be good. Monero is good, Ethereum will probably be the most popular, and BTC will be the crypto for snobs.

Hillary Clinton hates Bitcoin. Never forget why.
