To those not aware, reddit's largest ever ban wave will occur on Monday. Debatealtright is tracked by the Washington Post regularly, and will certainly be included in this ban wave. Keeping a presence on reddit only helps in the event that the sub isn't quarantined, this is because your average person (the target audience) shies away from giving an email to reddit.

As far as this sub here, many of us are used to debatealtright being an echo chamber due to the original altright subreddit having been axed over three years ago. Now, however, it is time to ensure that all posts are entirely formal in discussion, and welcome any type of viewpoints and to debate against them. Creating an echo chamber only serves to state our views to those who already agree with us, and will push those we want to convince of our ideas away.

As long as saidit remains a place to seriously discuss ideas, we can flourish here and attempt to converse with other people outside of this viewpoint.
