          It is the only statement he could make, as that anything else is against court order. You do not comment on trials in progress, or those accused. It is the same statement he made on any other person on trial that he was questioned on.

          It is no different than any other president . The only exception is usually if the sitting president feels it is wrong, and he intends to pardon.
