Is there a name for this?

When person A says they were attacked by person B but deliberately leaves out that it was person A’s initial attack on person B that prompted person B to justifiably retaliate.

I think we all know who does this. But I’m just wondering if this type of deception has a specific name, and if it doesn’t, can we invent a good name for it now.

    A passive aggressive person. The general trait of a passive aggressive person is they will never confront a person directly with the problems they are having. Instead they will try to sabotage the person through indirect means like disobey orders, spreading false rumors and attempt to gaslight the target and confuse others into siding with the passive aggressive person. These are probably worst type of people to deal with because they poison group relationships and are the type of people that can dish it out but can't take it.

    Confronting a passive aggressive person and retaliating can be dangerous and frustrating because they will hold a everlasting grudge and will be seen as proof by believers that the victim was the aggressor all a long. Jewish group behavior is very similar to a passive aggressive person. It is done covertly and not immediately obvious to everyone else except the victim of the attacks.

    I know what you mean, and no word I know seems to fit. I nominate the word "puckersunching" for attacking someone and then hiding that fact and playing the victim.
