Because they're still part of the American empire. They don't want too much tension with Uncle Sam.

1) Control of the right. They don't want alternative groups and messages to their own because they want to control the right of the political spectrum. More radical groups that oppose them from the right don't benefit them and often create problems for them.

2) Appeasing the elites. These countries are under tremendous pressure from the EU and global financial institutions. Poland is highly dependent on the outside world. Poland doesn't really have any major companies but is a European outsourcing country and companies like Airbus and german car companies are moving engineering and production there. The EU gives Poland billions every year and without NATO Poland could easily be steamrolled by Russia. Without western financial elites Poland would be like Moldova. The EU pays for the modernization of Poland's electrical grid and is the reason why Poland's trains are modern and not trains left by the Soviets.

Poland has a tough balancing act, they fundamentally disagree with the elites on certain issues at the same time they depend entirely on them. They can't start too many fights with the globalists and they have to do things to make them happy. Often they chose to do things that don't really bother them but make the globalists happy like supporting Israel or sending troops to Afghanistan. Polish politicians don't care about some village in Gaza and if that keeps them from getting EU sanctions for not becoming a third world country it is worth it for them.

Polish American checking in: Because Catholicism. Catholics are universalists. There is no one that is meant to be outside the reach of love of neighbor and thus out of reach of the Church. It's a naive evolutionary strategy to expand the faith as far as possible so as to create a worldwide theocratic utopia. It's obviously a degenerate idea in practice, but since Poland is very homogenous they project European theory of mind onto other races and would feel like they are endorsing what happened to them in history by being invaded by racist Germany. The real reason they reject migrants is because they practice Islam, not that they are brown.

Look how close the recent presidential election was there. Liberal universalism is widely popular, its mostly gay and trans people that prevent the full embrace of it. Poles are wary of racism, they still feel somewhat victimized by it themselves. They need to be exposed further to race science and shocking media before they stop clinging to religious hysteria so closely

Orban is Israel's best friend as well. He's a case similar to Trump, he loves Israel even though Soros and the likes hate him.

I don't think Poland is anywhere near as 'based' as many think. Many Polish people are quite racially conscious but the Polish state is Kosher nationalist and pro-USA/NATO. They even took part in the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Hungary seems to be more implicitly ethnonationalist, though. They have done things like keeping out rapuegees and incentivised native births.

This is as far as they can go in the current geopolitical paradigm. Banning high profile WNs like Spencer and Griffin helps to signal to the international community that they're not "Nazis". This is why I agree with Richard Spencer that small state nationalism is inherently useless. The reality is the US and EU can easily squeeze a country like Hungary into near starvation with economic sanctions if they stepped out of line. CIA, MI6 and special forces spooks can astroturf 'resistance' movements and instigate a few false flag events as a pretext for a NATO bombing campaign or invasion.
