The Democrats are betting that the dollar will retain its status as the main reserve currency and that people won't ever lose their trust in it because "muh America". How very arrogant of them. People with experience in third-world countries can spot destructive economic policies when they see them, and Bidenomics seems more like something the Argentine government would do in a panicked attempt to avoid losing an election than something you'd expect from such a "respectable" and "stable" economic power. Once the world realizes America is no longer the bedrock it once was, that its innovation potential is collapsing and that it's about to descend into banana republic territory, there will be a panic rush to dump dollars and turn to currencies sustained by economies based on actual value-creation, such as the Chinese.

Libertarians have been saying this for over a decade now. Stop reading Austrian nonsense.

Its not time yet, but its getting there. Inflation is normal given the circumstances of the U.S. economy. Things won't start to fall apart until there is deflation.

If liquidity isn't a problem I'd say land.
