I think this has been going on for a long time. The same people who spearheaded the mass censorship of right wing figures on the net -- think ADL and others -- also drew up a parallel list of 'safe hands' on the right that the platforms should promote day and night. The channels/figures would be just right wing enough to give the impression of something genuinely counter culture while at the same time being gatekeepers for the status quo.

YouTube does this as well. Every time I watch a video even related to anything about comedy the first thing that pops up now every single time is the same bill burr video. I've never watched Bill burr but its always there. Burr is like the fake version of a gruff but masculine Boston comic who in reality is anti-racialist married to an awful black feminist. Based! Also after every single political video I watch who's there but our old friend Kermit Peterson. I've probably watched about 4 or 5 of his videos years ago but somehow YouTube gives me nothing but that weird drug addict.

YouTube is obsessed with promoting Peterson. I would love to read an informed article about why he is promoted so much. It is extraordinary how ubiquitous he is.

Peterson explained it himself. He decided to come on the scene because he feared a White Nationalist backlash to the lefts extreme antiwhite ideology. His stated goal is to prevent young White men from becoming racialist and keep them in individualist mode. He's not even right wing, he's openly left wing.
