Both Destiny and Vaush have plenty of tricks up their sleeves. This is part of why their cult followers deify them.

For example, whenever Vaush is criticized over why his private life is essentially bourgeois while he professes to be a communist, he pulls out the consequentialist card, i.e. if I accrue wealth that deprives some non-Marxist bourgeois of getting it instead, and on top of that I'll put the money to "good use". Of course, he spends it all on himself.

This is of course an easy weapon for Vaush to wield because Marxists tend towards consequentialism anyway, i.e. harming whoever we dislike is okay because our intended goal is utopia.

It's stupid for people to go into debates with these two without prior studying all of their previous "debates" and taking note of all of their strategies (and all having counter-strategies planned ahead) beforehand. They obviously have a goodie bag of strategies prepared before they go in, which they pull out and deploy throughout. One needs to understand both the contents of his opponent's goodie bag and have his own own superior one containing strategies his opponent is not prepared to counter.

This Sean Last guy is very much into empirical data, so the usual "source, do you have a source for that claim?" trick isn't going to work against him, at least.
