IQ of South African Ethnic Groups

These results are different than what Lynn tells us. Firstly, these sub-Saharan Africans have the same IQ as African-Americans who are 25% white on average. Indians have an average IQ of 92, while just barely being beaten by Mulattoes who have an average IQ of 93 and represent the second highest IQ group in South Africa.

    Yes that is their genotypic IQ.

    The fact what white admixture hasn't increased it much is one of the stronger arguments against us.

    White admixture is without a doubt increasing their IQ, even in this study the mulattoes have an IQ the mean between the white and black IQ.

    I kind of wonder about the whole admixture thing.

    Perhaps this is wrong, so please correct me if it is, but in a way Africans are like proto-Europeans, at least if you go back far enough (I know this is ignoring the unique admixtures of each of these groups but bear with me). So it kind of seems like if you had a version 2.0 of something that is not backwards compatible, so if you do try and mix the updated version with an older one, you lose all the new features you had "evolved".

    As I mentioned the mulattoes in this study (listed as "Coloured") have a mean between the white and black IQ so such a backwards incompatibility probably doesn't exist. White admixture increases average IQ.

    What's the source? How do we know these aren't the intelligent blacks on the high end of the bell curve?

    Well, consider that 80% of South African 9 years old's can't actually read.

    This is probably an outlier. Lynn has two pages on IQ of South African blacks and they cluster around 72.
