Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk wants people to have more babies. “There are not enough people,” Musk told a Wall Street Journal event Monday. “I can’t emphasize this enough, there are not enough people,” he said. The tech billionaire said low and rapidly declining birth rates are “one of the biggest risks to civilization.” His comments come as a growing number of people are deciding not to have children, citing concerns such as climate change and inequality. Musk added that too many “good, smart people” think there are too many people in the world and that the population is growing out of control. “It’s completely the opposite,” Musk said, urging people to look at the data. “If people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble. Mark my words.” When asked if this is why he has so many children, the father of six said he’s trying to set a good example, adding that he has to practice what he preaches. Analysts at Morgan Stanley said in a note to investors in July that the “movement to not have children owing to fears over climate change is growing and impacting fertility rates quicker than any preceding trend in the field of fertility decline.” To support their argument, they pointed to surveys, academic research and Google data that shows climate change is directly and indirectly accelerating the decline in fertility rates. UCLA researchers have shown that the number of births in the U.S. fell in the nine months following an extreme heat event, while a study of 18,000 couples in China last year showed that climate change, and particulate pollution specifically, was associated with a 20% increased likelihood of infertility. Of course, if everyone stopped having children then humanity would eventually cease to exist. A fringe group of anti-natalists believe that’s exactly what should happen, but most people don’t share this view. Indeed, many people see having children as a fundamental human right and one that can bring happiness and joy to families.

Even though Musk is part of the Elite, there's nothing stopping him from having a personal conscious and truly taking a look at where the world is heading.

Especially for a guy whose childhood was living under Apartheid, and quickly left before his home country collapsed. Perhaps he's starting to connect the dots on what kind of "people" are needed to maintain civilization, especially as he continues to invest more money on colonizing Mars.     Birth rates right now are under attack in every Western country, by both Liberal & Conservative Parties. When you hear governments refer to "more people", they talk only about immigration or importing existing beings instead of creating new ones.

    The only countries that don't have a stigma on increasing birth rates are also the most socially conservative ones. Hungary, Japan, & North Korea want to raise more children naturally, while also being the most strict with their borders.

    I believe Elon is thinking of the near future when humans and/or bots/cyborgs will be needed off world. If we ever encounter aliens, they may be us from past civilizations. Of course they might have CRSPR modified DNA. He may be thinking of other factors, for example, virtual sex with bots may be so good, no one will want to do it with their own species.     My guess is that he has the right instincts and his heart is in the right place. Its just that he's slowly grasping parts of the truth. To those of us who are well enmeshed in the dissident right ecosphere it might not seem like much, but changing from the liberal-progressive worldview is very difficult. Only a few can do it without guidance.

    I offered my advice in plenty of time. "About half of us need to be killed", I said in the mid-70s. Well, look where we are now.

    As for future pensions, that's looking more iffy than ever. I wouldn't orient my life around that expectation, although many of my choices have been fairly unconventional.

    I'm aware of Jared Taylor's life work and the many many debates he had with his own generation.

    It still doesn't change what kind of world has been left to us and now we're forced to do whatever is necessary to survive. Unless the Boomers are prepared to apologize and hand back a portion of their wealth, then my thoughts about pensions will remain.

    The housing market more than ever is proof they're ok with this. They all have a chance to devalue their homes and return the markets to normal, but they wont.

    Corporations are just a business model. I've had corporations, and none of them have damaged the ecosystem to my knowledge.

    The corporations you're referring to are a reflection of overpopulation, and unacceptable levels of population concentration, as I mentioned above.

    The meme that we need to continue cancerous levels of 'growth' at the cost of everything is a meme that somehow has to die. I know this is kind of a pointless rant, because humans are obviously unable to self-regulate. We're 99% sure to continue this direction until reality catches up to us.

    Even if we somehow reverted to an 1800 population level, we would just take the same path again. It might help that we've depleted most of the resources with easy access. The whole Big Oil phenomenon wouldn't reoccur, which would dramatically alter the direction of practically everything. Limited fuel for vehicles, industry, farming, and etc.

    We'd still have the cities to mine for metals and other resources, and maybe some would still inhabit them. The nuclear weapons brought to us by overpopulation (without which would not exist, having never been developed in the first place) might change that possibility, perhaps as the cause for the reduced population level in this scenario.

    We can't go back, and forward lies the dystopian world of the most blackpilled science fiction. The two bright spots are, the future is not evenly distributed, and the fact that I've come to the end of my pointless rant for this time.

    The problem with corporations ("Legal Persons" actually) is that they don't experience RESPONSIBILITY. Have you ever heard of a corporation being jailed? See, THAT is the problem. When Big Pharma kills tens of thousands of people, or when Enron destroys vast swaths of the ocean, what happens? "Pay us a fine". Or was that Exxon? Whatever.

    If an individual kills even one person, they usually end up in jail.

    The population needs to be a small fraction of our current numbers. How to get back there from 'here' has no apparent easy solution, but total destruction lies ahead. We may end up having to choose partial destruction.

    There is zero reason to think this when the birthrate of most White populations is close to 1, it is already extremely close to dividing in half each generation in all European countries and White America. It's not easy to bring birthrates back to replacement level and has never happened before. If you think you can bring the White population down to 5 million (like the Georgia guide stones) through falling birthrates and then just say have 2 kids each now, then that is stupid and obviously wouldn't work.
