What do you think of this redefinition of "white nationalism"?

Liberals, blacks and leftists constantly use the term "white nationalism'" and claim that any kosher normie Republican who makes a vague dog whistle to white identity politics is a "white nationalist". The vast majority of these people have never even heard of David Lane or Ben Klassen, but think that Ronald Reagan and Ron DeSantis are white nationalists or at least aligned with white nationalism. This is despite the fact that these conservative politicians were mostly pro-immigration and extremely pro-jewish, and did very little to help any whites except very rich whites (many of which are actually jews). What do you think of this redefinition of white nationalism to mean inoffensive boomer conservatism by people who can't name a single RAC band?

I don't think it's redefinition. It's just simple ignorance that works well at shutting down discussion.

It's no different to calling Liberals "Communist" because they raise taxes.

Mainstream politics has never been about who is the most intelligent or truthful. If it was, the world as whole would not be chaotic.

I would want to balance out what conservatives truly believe, have done, and what does their support base think on certain issues. I think most leftists ignore anything these politicians/groups do to make them seem progressive, such as on Israel (if they do, they say cons only back it because of Evangelical faith).
