Why does Putin want to go to South Africa so badly?

I'm not even referencing the ongoing war, but just in general.

What is so important about flying 15,000KM away from your homeland, just to go a country that is even MORE third world and dangerous than your own? While being completely surrounded by sub 80 IQ creatures who already resent the White race and are doing everything they can to genocide/rape them in front of you?

It seems like the dumbest message you can send for trying to stick up for Western civilization. I could at least understand trying to forge stronger ties with China or even Cuba, since they are at least competent and serve a purpose.

But South Africa isn't that, unless he still has images in his head that the Apartheid government never collapsed. In which case, he's dumber than I thought.

Because South Africa is an ally of Russia? In fact Russian KGB created the ANC (and all African liberation movements) so why wouldn't they support them?

Julius Malema's EFF openly supports the Russian invasion of Ukraine but the current ANC government is "neutral" officially but basically supports Russia, kinda like how China does.

South Africa is as much of an "ally" as Israel is to the U.S. Which is to say, they're better off not being friends at all.

And the KGB propping up the ANC can be seen as a mistake. Similar to how the U.S once supported Afghanistan only to go to war with them later.

And Malema hates White people, so Putin seeking approval from someone who hates his very skin is even more insane.

Putin seems to play both sides on South Africa since he has also invited white farmers to come to Russia though this hasn't gotten very far (maybe he can promote a Boerstaat in Birobidzhan since it doesn't seem like the jews want to go there?) Maybe he is counting on Malema taking over to hasten a White exodus to Russia.

I don't think South Africa is likely to be any threat to Russia though.

    Putin himself seems to have absorbed a lot of 90's race-blind liberalism from his previous attempts to get closer to the West.

    He grew up in the USSR. Even if it had no blacks it did have negro-idolatry, anti racism, and 3rd worldlism.

    It's understandable, since the current territory of Russia has always been ethnically diverse. There have been Aryans, Slavs, Mongols, indigenous Northerners not unlike the eskimo of North America but more white looking, etc. It's a country that simply cannot afford racism. And also, they don't really NEED racism since they hardly have any black population at all. Being relatively authoritarian, they might also be able to put any black population to its best possible use without too much resistance.

    The BRICS nations represent Brazil, Russia, India, China and the S stands for South Africa. They are tight trading partners. Also, I can see Russia discreetly supporting the white population there, either by offering freedom of emigration and also possibly the movement of Russians to South Africa. They had an excellent tourism industry and besides Crimea, Russia is short on premium beachfront property.

    Russia is extremely strong in agriculture, and that's one place where "South Africa" has been struggling. There is a lot of trade to be done between the two.

    Wouldn't the best way to support White South Africans... is by putting them back in power? And then they can actually rebuild the country instead of watching them be slaughtered and raped every day?

    It's why I said supporting South Africa in this scenario is the exact same as America defending Israel. It's an unbalanced relationship where the parasite offers nothing of value for the host.
