Am not christian, don't care about sin and churches, to hell with them, they should pay rent. Am not going to change many things, am fine as it is and happy as it is, everyone does their part my ass, and I don't even go to fast food joints anyway. I think you misunderstood. I was comparing the absurdity of sinning just because you were born to the absurdity of destroying the world just by existing. I don't see either of these ideas as truthful, just means of guilt and control.

You should watch the video. It's truthful in it's overlying message. "Doing your part" is nothing more then a marketing scam used to sell "Eco" products of all sorts.

The emphasis on diet is purely political and the fact they are now trying to blame a particular sex is proof of that. Next it will be race.

With meat consumption the fear factor is methane but methane has a half life and will disappear from the atmosphere once we find a solution to stop cows farting (there are already a few good ones being trialed). Meanwhile the carbon dioxide produced to fly the vegan jack fruit and algae all over the world is here to stay.

      I don't know about the so-called "science" of methane as a greenhouse gas. I know the nonexistent science of CO2 as a greenhouse gas. So in the end, methane? Whatever. I think after 5 billion years the Earth has figured out how to keep its homeostasis.

      A feminist I follow was complaining that in poor countries women eat last and least.

      This is actually an adaptation to a difficult environment. When women don't eat enough their periods stop, they can't have children, they then don't have extra mouths to feed so are more likely to survive the hard times.

      If you start shipping food over to Afghanistan and designating it to women in some misguided feminist act all you are going to get is poor, oppressed women with huge families they have to work to look after and even less chance of feeding themselves when the NGOs disappear.

      The fact is women women are more likely to eat less meat even when personal choice is unlimited so there must be evolutionary reasons for that and if you mess with it you are likely to cause problems. If you don't have a clue the why then you will have no way to predict what problems you will cause. Same vice versa with men.
