And stovetop stills are available online for very reasonable prices too. You can get two or three people to go in on one still. I think someone on this thread told me about the stills using a different persona. Thanks. Oh, and it is legal to make booze at home as long as you don't sell it but laws don't mean much nowadays.

Is it designed for making booze? I wouldn't want it to explode when you use it. Don't buy it from Amazon but you can see what's available on there and get an idea of the design. As I remember the smallest was eight gallons and that is a lot of booze: about 32 litres. Here is one that apparently makes moonshine, wine, and beer for US $195. That's a little pricey but you could make that price back with two batches. Have you ever had pure corn liquor? No, just a 5L electric slow cooker. Warm, low, or high, but no flame.

In time for Xmas? I wouldn't object if you sent one. I have few on my list, non of big importance, and couldn't afford anything else if I did. 2020 was my best year since 2007. I'm hoping 2021 is when I properly get on my feet again, even if more underground - this time in my own fucking country.

That's a great device!!! I'd get it now or the first of January for only $195 USD - but it's in the USA and I'm in Canada.

The only thing close to it on Amazon.ca is an upgrade from 23L to 55L for $385 CAD. On second look, the search missed it but they also offer 10L $225, 22L $285, 36L $325.

Your model seems a bit higher quality. Sure it's a big expense, but it's a worthy investment. A fucking 24 case of beer in Canada is approaching $40. I can't afford booze at all.
