Pretty sure that lake is in the center of Hanoi. Lovely place and there is even a B-52 tail section in it. When I was there in the 90s, B-52 was on every drinks menu but I still don't know what's in the mix. Somebody at the Ministry of Tourism had a dark sense of humor.

Why would people think you could stand on the lily pads? Astounding lack of education.

I think some of them can take the weight of a small child.

However they also have big thorns underneath.
