"Brainwashing" is a lie that was spread (surprise, surprise...) from the 1950s ongoing for parents loosing "their" children to "cults" and "churches" (Scientology, e.g.) . Originally, CIA just couldn't believe into people really believing into other ideologies other than their own streamlined ones.

Some paper-jockeys at this agency even believed their own lie, which led to implementation of MKUltra. Because when China and the Soviets can do something, US must do it better.

It is implemented as a defense-mechanism.

To be able to ostracize people really believing in other ideas than standardized US puritan capitalism.

Till today, they just can't wrap their head around people having and living other ideas and forms or society that they themselves "love" so much.

Brainwashing is a "non"-word. Because it simply doesn't exist.

Brainwashing absolutely does exist, all your need to do it take a broken person and become their pimp.

For some people all that you need for them to believe everything you say it to make them feel validated.

It's a defensive lie. If you believe or not.

Easy to disprove. People can believe whatever they want.

You just don't like it, because you rather believe the human mind to be "weak" or "easy".

While I -on the other hand- got serious directions that human memory utilitizes quantum effects.

The same as "love" and "memory" are suspected to.
