    I wish wearing skirts wasn’t associated with notions of femininity. Fundamentally it’s the same as shorts.

    I actually know a couple of builders who wear skirts in the summer because they get so hot working outdoors (the other stereotypical option for builders is a tiny pair of denim shorts showing large amounts of arse crack, obviously). The wives have to make special ones for them in pin stripe or camouflage so they can convince themselves they are manly skirts.
