The USA Today article on Dave Chappelle has an interesting slight of hand snuck into it

You probably saw the article about Dave Chappelle defending JK Rowling. I caught something in it that should not go unnoticed. If teams L, G, B, T, Q, A?, +, I?, the other I?, the other Q (I think there's two qs), are in a pennant race (base ball reference) the Team T has slide into third and team B is now in fourth place.

Here's the quote, from the National Press Secretary of HRC, I'm referring to in the article:

McBride noted that such views are not rejected only among most feminists in the United States and supporters of LGTBQ rights.

Congrats team T! Soon you'll be in first, and who cares about all those other losers, right?

I believe the L goes at the front because gay men tended to push themselves forward and speak over lesbians.

By that logic the T should always go at the end no matter how long.

Either T did not get the memo, or HRC via USA today is slipping that new order of the letters into the new normal-- pretty minor in light of the rest of the new normal which I think bodes well for their endeavor. I don't wish them luck though. They don't need it probably.

I don't think such an explanation is needed to understand the point being made. But, you can google the phrase "pennant race" and gain that kind of enlightenment.
