I want to be a philanthropist too but unfortunately I don't know how to exploit, steal, and bribe very well.

All you need to do is to convince people to want something they dont need or sell them something they never needed in the first place.

I animated more commercials than I can remember. Then I quit all of it in 2004.

Horseshit. Philanthropy does not exist to laundry reputations. Just because overpowered corporations/individuals are deciding to make donations and get woke to look good in some idiot's minds, it doesn't alter their perceptions by plenty of folks who can see straight through that shit.

Philanthropy, or charity, has been around forever, and can certainly be true virtue. All that's requited is to not expect anything in return.

"Serves to replace public institutions with private ones"? Give me a break. What do you think existed prior to "public institutions"? You think the healthcare or education system is going away because of donations? They might kill them trying to influence them and corrupting them, but they ain't trying to "replace" them.

We all appreciate you jumping in to defend the wealthy and powerful. Certainly we little people must be chastised when we dare to question our betters.

I don't disagree with the core of your narrative, the messaging just stinks. Especially your misplaced blame on Capitalism. It's cronyism and corruption that are the enemies. Socialism is just as capable of these traps.
