When you go to a poor country for a cheap vacation, you ought not to be surprised the poor country is poor.

But it's Cuba. Home of socialism. Socialist countries don't have poor people. It's kind of in the name.

They got rid of the profiteering fascist pigs and now they keep all the profit for themselves and divide it equally. This creates an ideal society.

It seems you know nothing of Cuba. Imagine that.

It's a socialist country. There are no capitalists there. In fact, selling at a profit is a crime that can land you in jail. Where you're not just imprisoned, but rehabilitated. So that when you are released, you know what kind of society you live in and how best to fit in.

Are you saying socialism isn't the ideal society? You sound like a fascist pig, honestly.

No. I am saying TV stars say silly things. Of course you know how that is.

You said Cuba is a poor country. That's a lie. Cuba is socialist. One of the features of socialism is that it eliminates poor people. Everyone in society has the same level of prosperity.

Aren't you far left? How is it that you appear to be ignorant of the basic facts of your own ideology?

Oh well, at least she can grow from what is likely the first hardship of her entire life

Snark of the day: "If her government shows up with a helicopter, would she still want to get on?"

That's funny. A single friend was there about six years ago and raved about it in email, telling me to fly over from Mexico and join him. The emails trailed off but I'll bet he's still there. She is perhaps a Chilean Princess, una de los ratos.

Americans: Put sanctions on a country. Also Americans: Laugh about this country being poor.

Socialism is the opposite of poverty. It provides for all equally.

This actress is a socialist, too. She's getting the same as everyone else.
