Muhammad died in 632 CE, so islam is barely older than this battle.

Are we seriously supposed to believe that there is a 1400 year old grudge by the Muslims (who won) against the Jews (who lost).

The Khazars didn't convert until 740 CE or so (at the earliest), so the Jews in this massacre are ethnically distinct.
No relation to what is currently considered "Jewish" in the west.

You seem to not understand that much of Muslim sectarian identify is taken from what happened in the generation directly after Muhammad's death and that sectarian identity is far more important within mostly Muslim groups and lead to most of the religious violence. They very much all know these historical stories because not knowing what side of them your people were on will get you killed.

                  Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think we are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place.
