''Further, developing reports indicate that none of the 400 people who have been arrested for their involvement in the riot have been charged with sedition, according to the Post Millennial. The most serious charge that has been brought against a defendant in this incident has been assault. To be clear, there is quite a leap between the charges of assault—and the charges of conspiring to overthrow the government.''
Did you hear that, u/socks? No sedition, no conspiracy.
The media lied to you again.

Thanks for this.
There never has been reliable evidence for sedition (even if it became a talking point for some). No charges of sedition would thus be expected, as this is much more difficult to argue for mob violence.
Thus: are mob attacks on the Capitol Building acts of sedition? Not sure this can be appropriately argued.
What about: mob violence in the Capitol Building, with apparent intent to damage, harm and - according to video - put heads on pikes and/or kill or harm Pelosi, Pence, AOC and others?
Yes - this is assault, among other forms of violence. If 400 people were arrested, then there was probable cause for all of them.
Which "media" are you referring to?
Your source: https://thepostmillennial.com/
Any fact checking or media bias site you consider will have this website listed as untrustworthy, and extreme right-wing, because of the propaganda of misinformation and disinformation they promote. You're welcome to include this website as a post in the /s/ShitpostNews list.
OP also references https://www.lawofficer.com/ which betrays the law officers at the Capitol Building by posting this misleading note about the DOJ, which are not concerned with sedition. They're concerned with assault, some of which directed at security officers. Editors at lawofficer.com should be ashamed of themselves.
