I feel for these guys, I used to make similar stuff as a kid. I don't think this should be a murder charge, manslaughter at worst if they were negligent. And whatever appropriate penalties for doing this shit on this scale in a residential area, which was fucked up.

Negligent? Handling explosives? That's waaaay past negligence. That's premeditation.

There's a reason fireworks are heavily regulated. And this is it. Throw the book at these murderers.

I don't see how you can claim it is "past negligent" on the basis that it is super negligent.

It covers the full gamut.

I agree, murder is intentional. This is negligent homicide at best. But knowing a lot of narcissistic people I wouldn't be shocked to find out those kids were forced to work against thier will. If that is the case then I would support a murder charge.

"Factory"

Why does the media lie so blatantly? They were working out of thier garage. They had thier kids making bootleg fireworks and selling them on the street. Those poorly made fireworks would probably have a lot of delayed blasts that would injur a lot of people.

Oh muh Gawd, think of those black babies making fireworks in Uncle Remus' garage.

Illegal fireworks factory?

Wat?

Fireworks are already legal in Missouri. Bad ass fireworks. Perfectly legal.

Doesn't make sense.

More likely, they were key witnesses in a Clinton trial, or something similar. .

The fireworks industry is heavily regulated, but you knew that already. Handling explosives without a license is very illegal, as the BATF will tell you. They raid people all the time. The Clintons had nothing to do with it, but you also knew that before you posted.
