Surprise! They're all propagandists.

The media has been corrupted for as long as film has been around, if not longer.

It all started with the printing press.

Before the press there was the town crier.

PBS and NPR are propaganda.

PBS is more subtle. But like, they have woke shit all over Sesame Street.

PBS can suck it. Every fucking documentary they put out now ultimately ends up being about slavery. Fucking bio about Ben Franklin, have to have 20 black experts and somehow relate it back to slavery. A damn crime doc about some body in an iron casket; slavery. We're told to let 9/11 go, we can fucking let slavery go.

I can't think of 2 more irrelevant organizations than PBS and NPR. Dying organizations. Womp womp.

Disney? xD

Both companies had layoffs recently.

They'll be back. They forget that they used twitter because it was the modern day public square, and in a month or two, the numbers will hit them and they'll come running back.

They/them always come back.

As they/them never keep their word and have no standards.

Fake news thinks that by storming off, everyone will forget that they're fake news. Lol

putting proper labels on NPR and PBS as Government Propaganda because that's exactly what they are.

Not even that. The label just says "government-funded media". Those organizations even state that of their own accord.

Who said they were being excluded? They left like petulant jackasses over such an accurate descriptor of their services. It is very helpful as it makes more people away of the extent of government controlled propaganda that masquerades itself as independent or impartial.

        You're obviously biased

Says the pot, to the kettle.

Questions #2 and #3 are predicated on what you perceive as "obvious".

Why are you defending these organizations?

They "obviously" left Twitter on their own.

So stop using Twitter, like NPR and PBS.

        Ya commie.

hfxB0oyA - why do you talk about PBS and NPR as if they were children?

I thought it was a witty headline. It certainly got a lot more attention and spurred more discussion than most of the posts I make here.

Are are you trying to lower the discourse on Saidit to infantile jokes?

        Yes.

If there is anything to say about PBS or NPR's decisions, I'm not seeing any analysis here in the thread.

Feel free to add some. Saidit is for everyone! And welcome, BTW. 😃

For example: do you want Twitter to exclude PBS and NPR?

It's not excluding them, so I don't see how any desire I may or may not have to that effect are even relevant.

If so, how is that helpful? Will it be good for the authoritarians?

Again, Twitter isn't excluding PBS or NPR. They're leaving on their own. And taking their little balls with them.

hahaha he labeled state funded media as such, and you call it misinfo

People suck at acting these days.
