Good. He has a constitutional right to reasonable bail. You cannot inflict a pre-conviction sentence just because you believe he's guilty. Being American means something. If constitutional guarantees like due process, the presumption of innocence, and the right to bail are painful to you, you're not living in the right country.

This idea works great for people who commit one off crimes but not for repeat offenders.

Because fuck her, right? He has the right to throw her down and try to rape her and face no consequences because apparently new york doesn't give a shit about you unless you're super fucking wealthy or a criminal (him being black definitely had no part to play either)

Stop with the emotional histrionics. He has constitutional rights.he doesnt lose those rights just because /u/russkayacabbage gets emotional.

Subhuman Animals shouldn’t have constitutional rights.

bail usually is dependent on the defendant being a danger to society.

with video evidence of the crime in broad daylight, without even trying to hide, one would think the defendant would have some sort of mental illness and be some danger to society at large. thus bail denied.

"Danger to society"-- that's quite the phrase. I suppose that powerful men like you use phrases like that to deprive lesser men of their "inalienable" constitutional rights.

You're such a strong man with such important opinions!

yew make it sound like 'danger to society' is something that's never been uttered in a courtroom before(or something a judge has to consider when releasing a criminal on his OR). like a joo, yew deflect the conversation away from the problem of some piece of subhuman garbage that can't function in a normal civil society. your ignorance also ass-umes who you are talking to. yew seem to think that raping a woman in broad daylight is an 'inalienable' constitutional right. grow up son and read a book.
