The Virus came clearly from a laboratory (based on its RNA code). The evidence for that is very solid.
There are many experts that support this claim, and on zero-hedge you can find the first publications of it.

General idea:
There are many mutations needed to create such a virus, and weird mutations that do not happen in nature.But they happen in the laboratory all the time.We DO SEE natural mutations AFTER the outbreak of the virus. It may even have mutated itself so much that it became less dangerous.

The counter-narrative:
The "experts" that claim that it is a natural evolution, all skip some major parts of the mutations. Exactly the parts that do NOT happen naturally. They probably did the same kind of research, in one of the many labs. Because they are partially responsible, they have reason to hide the evidence. So it appears to me that these are just covering up THEIR problem themselves. Or just parroting their friends.

It is not clear whether the release was intentional, though

Also, if I recall a Medium piece I read several months ago (and I am vastly over-simplifying a quite technical bioinformatic analysis): the virus looks like a cut+paste job with all the pieces necessary to optimize harm, the pieces coming from vastly different viral reservoirs that are unlikely to meet in nature.

And since the Democrats are so heavily invested in the covid-19 is all Trump's fault strategy and the MSM is backing them up as usual this story will die as merely hearsay from an unreliable source because nobody in the government or news media will investigate it.
