You can already see the propaganda machine starting up with all the stories about how terrible it will be if Trump sticks to his goal of bringing the troops back from Afghanistan before Christmas.

That's one of the things I really liked about Trump, he's been a dove for as long as I've known. I hadn't really even considered Biden would be in bed with the military industrial complex, Trump should have campaigned on that. He spoke well to his base during the campaign but he didn't need to convince those guys. I bet Trump would have swayed a significant number of undecided votes if he'd made war a key issue.

Even if he did, the filter bubbles would have stopped it getting to the people who needed to hear it.

The debates would have been a perfect time. Trump played that like he was at one of his rallies instead of using the opportunity to grab votes from the other side. Maybe he thought it would have alienated his base... not sure. Biden did a shit job too.
