Fact: James Clapper flat out lied to Congress when asked about government spying on all American citizens.

He is a now a go-to voice promoting the re-establishment of the status quo.

These are the "facts" Obama wants us to return to.

It's so dumb they keep trying to pin the blame for big social changes on individuals or political sides. Last week I saw an article trying to blame this on Tony Blair, who was in power a fair bit more than 4 years ago.

But what started to happen just before Blair took power, mass usage of the Internet.

Maybe just maybe that had something to do with people ignoring the government approved experts.
