I would add a score for environmental concerns: Major polluters get an F. And a score for paying their employees a living wage.

Yeah, but those have nothing to do with patriotism. It's best we keep environmental and economic labels separate.

Caring about the viability of the land you love and its population should be the very basis of patriotism. Or is your patriotism an empty shell? What is patriotism to you?

You literally want to undermine environmentalism to muddy Nationalism. If it had it's own label: it'd be more prominent and uninfluenced by unrelated factors. An economic label could include:

  1. Pollution

  2. Biodegradability

  3. Reusability

And perhaps some other things; I ain't a scientist, so I wouldn't know what all should be factored into the rating. But my point is just that it should be separate.

A lot of things I buy aren't even made in the US any more.

Most of the things people buy ain't made in the US, because our leaders are weak Globalists who sold America out.

Most things aren't made in the US because the dollar is an international currency, making a living wage in US dollars expensive compared to a living wage in other countries.

They don't pay foreigners a living wage, it's just that the countries they ship our jobs to don't have high standards.

Another factor at play is that the Industrial base pollutes a lot. It was very smart in some ways to let China wreck their own country to supply us with cheap goods. In the big Chinese cities the air is really bad, and even Chinese agriculture is suspect due to improper disposal of industrial waste.

Hell, we even had them buying our garbage from us for a long time.

And I haven't personally worked in a factory but I have family who has or had, and it's mind numbing repetitive work.

Yeah, we have to get pollution under control for sure.
