I don't know anyone who voted for Biden that particularly likes the guy. He won on not being Trump. The numbers make sense to me.

It's not all bad news, he has a good chance of being a one term prez.

The numbers in the title are fake news anyways. Trump's approval hovered in the very low 40s for most of his presidency, and his approval also plummeted at the end of his term. Trump did not leave office with a fucking 51% approval rating.

In agreement with you and Mr Muskrat, I'd say that many who supported Biden were initially Bernie supporters, and we wouldn't just yet give Biden 4 stars, or even 3 stars, especially because many of us hate neoliberalism, and moderate liberal approaches, and hope to see Biden's team make substantial changes, rather than compromise with radical Republicans. So far, so good, however, with the initial executive orders. In any event, the team that Biden's team put together will hopefully work on bills that can now pass House and Senate, and will hopefully offer some form of New Deal. For Biden's team to unite the country, they'll need to get people vaccinated and back to work, and they'll have to restore nearly all of the important government agencies and trade deals.

You might be the only person in the country who thinks he'll finish a full term.

Hah! I don't think there's much chance he'll have a second term. I'm not taking any bets he'll live through the first.

Even if he's still alive, it wouldn't surprise me to see him step down on his own due to health / cognitive issues. His condition's been rapidly declining in the last year. I can't imagine that slowing down now that he's dealing with the stress of the presidency.

    He said "where," not "what."

That was always the plan. He's pushed out and DUH-mala steps in.

I remember not one person voting for him could explain why they were voting for him without mentioning Trump.

Biden is an illegitimate president who stole the election through fraud. He is a treasons traitor and an enemy of all people of the US.

A rare post that deserves both a light bulb and a smiling face upvote.

Poor guy is getting writer's cramp from all the executive orders. He doesn't even know what he's signing. Be afraid. How does Kamala seize power? Does Joe jump... or is he pushed?

I think you are confusing Biden's unpopularity with Trump's.
